Maternity
When is the best time to book your Maternity Session?
Ensuring that you are feeling your best and that your belly is nice and round is the best time for your maternity photo session. This typically occurs between 32 and 37 weeks.
I would recommend that moms who are expecting twins have their session prior to 28 weeks, depending on how they are feeling. Twin bumps are more prominent faster, so we can plan your session at an earlier time during your pregnancy.
Does the studio have Maternity Wardrobe?
Yes, I do have a variety selection. however you can bring your own dress and your style.
Does the package include hairstyle and makeup?
No, you can add on to your package.
Professional hair and Makeup do a big difference in Maternity photos. I know this is a beautiful and stressful time and hire a makeup/ hair artist for you, is a wonderful way to pamper yourself
Newborn
When is the best time to have newborn photos done and when should I book?
The optimal time for a newborn session is within the first 14 days of baby’s life. Babies are very sleepy, flexible and generally free of newborn acne at this time. Please reserve your newborn session while still pregnant, well before your due date. I will pencil in your due date and ask you to contact me after your baby is born to adjust the actual session date.
Is there any advantage for me if I book newborn and maternity sessions together?
Yes! With the maternity/newborn combo you receive a $150 Credits towards Investment on Artwork of your selection
Where will the newborn session take place?
Newborn session normally take place at the studio, but client can ADD ON In Home session, so you can be relax at the comfort of your home.
How long will the newborn photography session take?
It will depend of the package of your selection.
Every baby is different, but in general a newborn session can take anywhere from 2 – 4 hours! During the unrushed session we take many soothing and feeding breaks based on your baby’s needs.
Can parents and siblings be included in the newborn session?
Most definitely yes! In fact, I encourage it.
How should I prepare for my newborn session? Will you help?
Yes! As your newborn photographer I am here for you each step of the way so you can relax and enjoy the process. I have put together a written Session Guide which you will receive 1 day before your session. This guide will give you a great session overview and will help you best prepare yourself, your family and your home for a successful newborn session.
General
How long will it take to see my photos after the session?
It takes about 2 weeks to process your images. Then we will meet for an in-person viewing and ordering session. All decision-makers need to be present. You will be able to see and touch all the products I offer, ask any questions, and make an informed decision regarding your portrait selections. Long distance clients will be presented with an online, private gallery.
You took so many newborn photos. Will we get to see all of them? Can we see the unedited (RAW) images?
The short answer is no. Trust me, you do not want to go through all the images because there are hundreds! I will do that for you. As you can imagine, many factors play a role in selecting the images I edit and include in your gallery and this is where my expertise shines. Only the absolute best of the best make it, which will in the end be about 15- 25 images from a newborn session (depending on the package), and 13 – 15 from a maternity session. These images will be fully edited, cropped, and prepared for final presentation. Unedited images are not shown or provided.
How long after the session do you keep my images?
To accommodate new clients, unordered images will be purged 30 days after your session. Ordered images will be archived in my system for 1 year.
Do you offer a payment plan?
No, Session Fee should be paid at the time you book your session , and investment fee at the time of the session
Do you have a referral program?
Yes! I greatly value my clients and supporters who like my work and refer others. For each new client you refer you both will receive a $50 print credit.
What is your cancellation policy?
Session fee in not refundable. If you are unable to keep your appointment, I ask you to notify me at least 24 hours before your scheduled session, So we can reschedule, for a best time.
